Livermore born Chef Judi Green left the Silicon Valley high tech arena to attend the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu cooking program in Paris and never looked back. After running a highly successful catering firm (Taste-Full Events) in Silicon Valley for 20 years, in 2018 Judi moved to Clayton where she quickly became a friendly presence on the local scene; volunteering at many charity events.

Realizing that a tasty and affordable approach to contemporary food and drink was what the community craved, Judi created Groveside Bistro to bring a new culinary option to downtown Clayton. Believing that good food always starts with fresh ingredients, her approach is to offer a core menu of favorites plus a changing roster of seasonal specials to reflect the bounty of Northern California.
